There are four linguistic criteria which focus on the language you use, so tone, clarity, choice of vocabulary and grammar.
And there are five clinical communication criteria which focus on how you communicate with the listener, including how you gather information, display empathy, structure the conversation, and check you have been understood.
If you’re aiming for a B grade, you need to score mostly 5 out of 6 on the linguistic criteria and 2 out of 3 in the clinical communication criteria.
