There are six criteria that OET use to mark your letter: a clear expression of purpose, the inclusion of relevant content, concise and clear writing, the correct tone and style, the organisation and layout, and the language you use, including grammar, vocabulary, spelling and punctuation.
To get a B grade, you need to score mostly 2 out of 3 for Purpose and 5 out of 7 for the remaining criteria.
