AI-Powered English for Care – Second Beta Test Now Open

Alongside the continued development of our course portfolio, Specialist Language Courses is advancing its AI-Powered English for Care project — an innovative learning tool designed to help carers practise real-life workplace communication in English through safe, guided role-play scenarios.

Following a successful first testing phase, feedback from participants confirmed that the tool generates empathetic, realistic responses aligned with authentic communication needs in health and social care settings. The platform has now been expanded to include all learning units.

We are now recruiting participants for our second beta testing phase, running:

30 March – 20 April

Who can take part?

This testing phase is open to care staff and carers currently working in:

Residential care
Home care
Supported living
Community care settings

No technical experience is required — only your real-world care knowledge and day-to-day communication experience.

What participants receive

Those taking part in the beta test will receive:

Full access to the AI learning tool during the testing period
A certificate of participation
A £10 Amazon voucher in recognition of their time and feedback
