OET Prepare is a 3-level pathway, designed to take OET Nursing candidates from an A2 elementary level to a C1 OET B level.
OET Prepare is for teachers and educational institutions who want excellent materials, clear lesson plans and a structure they can use to prepare nurses for success in OET.
Teachers simply choose the level that is most suitable to the groups they are working with. They receive the teaching resources and share access to the course with students. Then they’re ready to go.
Level 1 is for students who can already understand and communicate in simple sentences in familiar situations, such as travel, work and family. This is equivalent to a good A2 level on the CEFR. On this course, students build a foundation in the English they need for OET.
Level 2 is for students who can understand and communicate reasonably well in most common situations in work and life. They can describe experiences, events and hopes, and can explain their opinions and plans. This is equivalent to a good B1 level on the CEFR. On this course, students build on the language and skills they need for OET.
Level 3 is for students who can understand complex ideas, communicate with fluency and spontaneity, and write and speak clearly and in detail on a wide range of subjects. This is equivalent to a good B2 level on the CEFR. On this course, students develop the language, strategies and techniques they need to score a B at OET.
