SLC Partners with Ochilloff Medical College to Deliver OET Preparation in Uzbekistan

In 2024 SLC Director, Peter Rodway, visited Uzbekistan as part of a mission to discuss education and vocational opportunities in the UK which included the signing of an agreement between the Uzbek Ministry of Labour and our long-term partner Neu Professionals.

A new project has now been initiated by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the USA in partnership with US recruitment expert Medstaff Alliance. U.S. hospitals have allocated work quotas for 780 graduates from Uzbek universities in 2025.

Under the agreement participants will be trained as medical professionals in accordance with U.S. standards, with successful graduates of the project will be placed in U.S. hospitals through H1-B and EB-3 visas.

Preparation for the OET and NCLEX licensing exams is being organized in Samarkand and Tashkent and SLC is pleased to announce a partnership with Ochilloff Medical College as their OET delivery partner. Β Teaching staff at Ochilloff Medical College will use the SLC LMS platform and the full OET Prepare syllabus to enable face-to-face, blended and online OET classes to be delivered for the first time to groups of Uzbek medical students.

OET Prepare is a 3-level pathway, designed to take OET Nursing candidates from an A2 elementary level to a C1 OET B level and all 3 levels will be taught at the College from the beginning of February.
