What happened in June?
In June, we were delighted to launch OET Prepare in partnership with OET.
OET Prepare comprises a suite of tutored courses at three levels, Skilled, Intermediate and Advanced. They provide nurses with A2, B1 and B2 levels of English with a clear pathway to developing the language and skills needed to achieve a high score in OET Nursing.
Bookings are now open and the first courses kick off in September.

Also in June, SLC Director, Peter Rodway, visited Turkey with a delegation from the NHS, private healthcare and international recruitment to outline opportunities available in the UK for Nurses, Doctors and AHPs.
Events in both Izmir and Istanbul were very well attended and 50 Midwives were made offers of employment by Capital Midwife.
Other speakers included Natoya Mamby (Capital Midwife) Wellington Makala (Chief Nurse at NELFT), Edyta Ozbek (CEO of NEU Professionals and event organiser) and Su Monk,(Director at Sirona Healthcare).
It was an excellent event full of positive energy and we believe that Turkey will become a new and important overseas recruitment market for the NHS.
