This case study looks at the challenges and successes of designing and delivering Mastering Communication in Social Care, a new blended English language and communication skills course for overseas social care workers, developed by SLC in partnership with the South East Social Care Alliance (SESCA).
Mastering Communication in Social Care is a short CPD-accredited course for overseas carers working in residential care homes, nursing homes, supported living and domiciliary care. It provides them with the English language skills that will enable them to communicate confidently and effectively at work.
